Belarusian AIDS Network (BAN) was created in 2001 by Belarusian HIV/AIDS service NGOs and initiative groups to provide a more effective response to the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Belarus.

BAN seeks to consolidate and strengthen the efforts of Belarusian NGOs for increasing the effectiveness of their programs and activities at all levels through facilitating cooperation, information and experience exchange, coordination of efforts, lobbying and advocacy of interests and opinions.

Currently, BAN unites 15 NGOs working in all regions of Belarus and providing information, counseling, educational, and medical services to the youth, drug users, people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, commercial sex workers, and other vulnerable groups.
